Discover the magic of Indigo in this hands-on workshop! We’ll delve into the rich history of Indigo dying, exploring the cultivation of the plant and its transformation into pigment and a dye vat. You’ll get to practice a variety of resist dying techniques and learn how to create your own vat. Through multiple dips we’ll create a range of beautiful blue shades. participants will leave with 2 bandanas made in class and are welcome to bring one lightweight garment such as a T-shirt to dye in our studio Vat.
All materials provided, no experience necessary.
